20-21 Solo Exhibition

The 20-21 Visual Arts Centre is exhibiting a collection of my soda/wood-fired ceramic vessels and installations. The pieces are inspired by close observation of the natural environment. The exhibition runs from 7 May until 16 July 2011.

Sheffield Museums Collection

Last year I was one of three ceramists and two silversmiths commissioned to produce a dinner service for the Re-Coefficients Dining Club organised by Grizedale Arts. The event was held at the Millennium Gallery and was inspired by the life of John Ruskin. Sheffield Galleries and Museums Trust has now purchased one piece from each maker who took part, and our work was also featured in Ceramic Review.

Educational Waders

School children in Lincolnshire have produced some beautiful birds based on my installation ‘Incredible Closeness’ which is now showing at the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe. They have made some quite remarkable illustrations of waders and posted them on the wall nearby.
